About Dr. Brackup

Alan B. Brackup, M.D., F.A.C.S.

As one of America's leading cosmetic surgery specialists, Dr. Brackup is the first surgeon in the United States to be board certified in both cosmetic surgery (American Board of Cosmetic Surgery - Facial and Dermatologic/Liposuction Cosmetic Surgery) and ophthalmology (American Board of Ophthalmology).

Dr. Brackup is a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Stanford University Medical Center.  He conducted his fellowship in ophthalmic plastic surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (Iowa City, Iowa).

Currently he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.  As an internationally recognized educator, author, and lecturer in the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Brackup has been at the forefront of a number of advances in the field, including laser cosmetic surgery and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedures.
