Thigh Lift

Thigh Lift

As with other regions, loose and sagging soft tissues can affect the lower body as well.  The appearance of these areas may be bothersome in spite of appropriate diet and exercise.  A thigh lift involves the removal of this excess skin and fatty tissue either from the inside of the thigh (medial thigh lift) or the outside of the thigh (lateral thigh lift).

Depending on the dimensions of one's body, we tailor the placement of the incisions to help patients achieve their goals.  Occasionally liposuction is recommended in conjunction with a thigh lift for optimal results.  The procedure often can be done as and outpatient, or it might also be combined with other procedures.  Good candidates for a thigh lift are bothered by excess soft tissue along the inner or outer thighs, are healthy, and do not have conditions which impair the body's ability to heal normally.
